I'd like to use this thread for our staff to keep our listeners and each other up-to-date with what they are trying to accomplish in relation to the station/ have accomplished thus far in terms of any one project.

For example, Mr_Potz is making the 'Ultimate showdown of G3' so he might say 'I am making this track' and then update it with 'I've got the lyrics, just need to record'.

Get the idea?

In relation, Mr Potz is currently working on the ultimate showdown of G3 radio still playing with lyric combinations, then can get to recording
also in the early stages of organising a song, sung by G3 radio staff (possibly with instrumental donations?)
Also learning after effects atm to put together a series of Escapist magazine esk videos covering an overview of big game serieswhich can then go on the website (possible titles for the feature appreciated)
That's all I've got going atm, more to come I like having a project currently things have slowed right down while I put my windows 7 back togeter after my fatal crash monday evening but things should be back up to speed soon

I've been a busy little bee

I have made flyers for the shows at i42, a poster for kittyjack and danthecrab to put up at school and I'm working on a generic poster for people to downlaod and spread around at will.

I have created a bingo card game for i42

I've written a bunch of one liner station idents and a few longer donation sweepers

I've got us 10 rustlers vouchers for i42

Reembursed lorc, steve and crace for contributions

Still to do:
Shout at santander (haven't been out of the house for two weeks due to holiday)
Advertise us on the multiplay forums
Secure us more prizes for comps at i42
Write an intro for the Monday show (tho kobolds is only 5 mins, possibly use that?)
Put a list of users and passwords for merch and paypal in a g3 gdocs spreadsheet and share with managment
Prod steve to send me invoice for april server costs
Update accounts
Prod steve to set up info@ to forward to me and lorc


If there is anything anyone can help with on this lsit give me a shout. Equally anything anyone thinks I've missed and needs a manager to do, give me a shout.

I'm waiting to get confirmation from Roccat, hopefully they'll provide us with some cool stuff to give away. Fingers crossed.

Posters are something I'm looking into. We have a colour A3 printer and laminator here at the college, so, I'm knocking those out atm during my lunch break.

Polo tops should be ready by next week, to approve and if they're good enough, I'll order a batch to be made up.

Equipment - Sorting out the new OB Rig. I'm buying stuff atm and testing it.

I assume by that your looking in my direction?

Well, I can do recording once I get a new soundcard, so if anyone would be so kind to donate money towards my new soundcard (it's not too expensive) then I would be more than greatful, and I'd be able to help out with recording songs, sweepers etc...

Update: Ultimate showdown lyrics are written, now practicing my vocals to *hopefullY* get it all in one take. Now just need BDK's bass as well as Drums from Blobbin's mate then it can be vocalled

* Heard back from GWR people and have updated the world record attempt post accordingly.
* Have emailed multiplay peeps about said record attempt
* Updated the accounts for the rest of this month.
* Received the debit card, PIN and chequebook for the G3 Santander account. However their website doesn't work so can't register for online banking atm.
* Set verification in progress for the paypal account.
* Finished descriptions and tagging on facebook photos

Was I supposed to be listen testing some potential djs at some point?

* emailed GWR people with some concerns that Lorc brought up. Haven't had a response, nor have I pestered them with Arm's concerns yet.

* got blobbin's autograph all set to post
* really wishing I hadn't gone with santader, their website's shite...

I'm gonna record some sweepers and that bohemian rhapsody thing once my voice works again. Should also be well enough to go on air monday, so I'll pick my cans up and try and fix my rig.
